Linux onos-RH1288-V2-4L 3.16.0-30-generic #40~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jan 15 17:43:14 UTC 2015 x8664 x8664 x8664 GNU/Linux
referred wiki:
details: when executing “make all‘, the first step is to run dockerfile in /fuel/build/docker/ubuntu-builder/,while encountering problems during apt-get installing lxc as flows:

Errors were encountered while processing:
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
2015/09/16 10:14:54 The command [/bin/sh -c apt-get install -y software-properties-common python-software-properties make python-setuptools python-all dpkg-dev debhelper fuseiso git genisoimage bind9-host wget curl lintian tmux lxc iptables ca-certificates sudo apt-utils lsb-release dosfstools] returned a non-zero code: 100

while I find logs of lxc installation:

1.Setting up cgmanager (0.24-0ubuntu7.3) ... invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/cgmanager not found. invoke-rc.d: policy-rc.d denied execution of start. invoke-rc.d: unknown initscript, /etc/init.d/cgproxy not found. invoke-rc.d: policy-rc.d denied execution of start.

2.Setting up lxc (1.0.7-0ubuntu0.2) ... chfn: PAM: System error adduser: `/usr/bin/chfn -f LXC dnsmasq lxc-dnsmasq' returned error code 1. Exiting. dpkg: error processing package lxc (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of lxc-templates: lxc-templates depends on lxc (>= 0.8.0~rc1-4ubuntu43); however: Package lxc is not configured yet.

dpkg: error processing package lxc-templates (--configure): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

As the makefile is to run scripts and the dockfile is used in virtual ubuntu as separated container of docker , I don't know why these errors occur and how to handle them.

Hey there.

Can you confirm that you have added the user that you are using to do the make as into the /etc/group for the docker process? Seems like you have a permission issue. I believe the build_instructions outline the step to add your user into the docker group.
