# Failed to build the bootstrap image

Hi, we are receiving this error on the fuel GUI (I'm trying to install Brahmaputra with official ISO). Fuel node have internet connectivity. Is it possible to overcome the error?

WARNING: Failed to build the bootstrap image, see /var/log/fuel-bootstrap-image-build.log for details. Perhaps your Internet connection is broken. Please fix the problem and run fuel-bootstrap build --activate. While you don't activate any bootstrap - new nodes cannot be discovered and added to cluster. Here the log file.

I checked on local repo (mirror): some files are missing (amd64 folder is empty). Is it possible to sync the local mirror with the original repo? Which commands should I run?

Hello.

A couple of things.

1st - can you confirm if you are using internal repo (off the ISO) or external ones - internet - if you are using external ones, can you confirm that you have Ran Verify networks - and that comes back without an Error?

The installation instructions provide clear example of what to do if you dont have internet access for your FUEL node - and how to configure local repos. I suspect that you either didnt configure local repos or your FUEL node doesnt have internet access and thus cant build the bootstrap.

once you define your environment in the FUEL UI - you MUST run Verify Network and it must pass without issue, or your deployment will fail.

Cheers D
