Missing opendaylight-0.6-0.6.1-1.noarch.rpm on Fuel Node

I am following the procedure here to install OPNFV Arno SR1 here: http://artifacts.opnfv.org/arno.2015....source=OPNFV%20SR1&utmmedium=Downloads&utm_campaign=SR1%20-%20Fuel%20Install%20Guide

I am at the section: Install ODL Plugin on FUEL node 11. SSH to your FUEL node (e.g. root@10.20.0.2 pwd: r00tme) 12. Verify the plugin exists at /opt/opnfv/opendaylight-0.6-0.6.1-1.noarch.rpm

Unable to find the above rpm ?. [root@fuel-opnfv opnfv]# ls /opt/opnfv/opendaylight-0.6-0.6.1-1.noarch.rpm ls: cannot access /opt/opnfv/opendaylight-0.6-0.6.1-1.noarch.rpm: No such file or directory

What is the root-cause and how can I recover?

Hello .

Can you please tell me what ISO you are using - provide the filename, the link you used to fetch it and the checksum/mdsum of the ISO?

can you do a "ls -ltR" of /opt/opnfv from your FUEL node as well?

Cheers, Daniel

PS - B-release is out now - you might want to get it - its fancy and new :)

As well, you might not be able to get that version of the plugin anymore 6.1 - so you can see this thread for how to build it yourself (the plugin RPM) from source here.

Daniel,

Here is the information you have requested. However, I have an update since I sent this email:

I installed the Fuel Server in VirtualBox, the installation went through without any hitches and the Fuel ODL Plug-in was there at /opt/opnfv.

This installation error was when we used an HP DL360 with 4G of RAM and 500 GB of Disk, via iLO 3, v1.26 using .NET plugin (could never get the .java interface to work). During the ‘Run post-installation scripts’, it was hanging forever and eventually re-booted, booting off the iso again. The only way for me to get to the Fuel Setup screen was to terminate the ‘Run post-install scripts’ and re-boot the machine from the HD and manually invoking the bootstrapadminnode.sh script… which worked and the Fuel GUI was up and I was able to PXE Boot the Nodes and have it show up in the Fuel GUI.

Requested Information:

• Reference: Downloaded ARNO SR1 Fuel ISO from here. 4.9 GB. -

Hey there. 4GB of RAM will not be enough I dont think for all the FUEL services to come up and install cleanly- most likely - as you pointed out since the port-install (which would run the puppet that woudl push the plugin over failed). I would suggest you reinstall the FUEL node
